The principal intention and focus of the Active Reactor in lighting applications is on energy savings, greenhouse gas abatement and improving the environment. |

Field and laboratory tests have shown that the Active Reactor can save between 15% - 25% in energy in running high intensity discharge (HID) lamps in streetlighting, public lighting, sportslighting and industrial lighting applications. |

The energy savings in no way compromise the maintained lighting level and are achieved by using an innovative way to control a HID lamp using intelligent electronics. |
