Monash Freeway, Melbourne
The M1 Monash Freeway is a major urban freeway in Victoria, Australia linking Melbourne’s CBD to its southeastern suburbs and the Gipppsland region. As part of the Monash Freeway Upgrade in mid 2009 more than 200 x 150W and 250W Active Reactor luminaires were installed between Glenferrie and Warrigal Roads. The upgrade was undertaken by the Monash Alliance, a collaborative teaming of VicRoads, Abigroup contractors and Sinclair Knight Merz.
